Hi, my name is Santana Checkk, a model and future esthetician based in North Carolina.

Growing up as a military brat meant constant movement, new places, and learning how to adapt quickly. I’ve lived across the U.S. and spent three years in Germany during high school, which shaped how I understand identity, style, and presence. My story was even featured through the military community in Alaska at Fort Wainwright: Fort Wainwright honors children I guess you could say I’ve been “modeling” my adaptability since I was a kid.

Fun fact: I changed my first and last name to something more intentional and iconic, as part of building the identity and branding I wanted to step into.

I was born with mild hearing loss and I’m currently in the process of getting hearing aids, which has made me even more aware of how powerful visual expression can be. When sound shifts, visuals speak louder. Fashion became my language for energy, emotion, and confidence without needing words.

Right now, I’m also studying esthetics, and skincare has become a serious part of my world. Not just as beauty, but as routine, care, and understanding how skin health connects to confidence and self-expression. Learning the science behind skin and the way people relate to their appearance has made this feel like a natural extension of my creative work. Closer to the skin, more personal, and more intentional.
